Since our founding, the fascination for frozen food has never left us: We are convinced that frozen products are not only a healthy and culinary building block for a modern diet, but can also make a significant contribution to greater sustainability. The people at concept cool work every day to enrich our range with innovative products.
Our entrepreneurial journey began in 1994 as a marketing and sales agency specialising in frozen food for the Austrian market, as an "extended arm" of the manufacturers, so to speak. Just five years later, in 1999, we successfully expanded our activities to include our own frozen fish and seafood business.
In 1999, we moved deeper into the value chain with fish & seafood and started our own product development with expertise and quality management from source to POS. Since 2007, we have been using this know-how and the stories of our products to successfully develop our customers' private labels together with them. Organic products and sustainability have been important to us from the beginning.
Since 2012, we have been a member of the binca group, an internationally active group of companies that specialises in fish and seafood and operates its own production facilities in Belgium and Austria.
Wolfgang looks back on a successful career in various international branded goods companies. After gaining initial experience in the food sector at various companies, he spent almost 10 years as Managing Director of the Austrian organisation of a US company before expanding his experience in the non-food sector. Wolfgang brings this strong brand competence with his market-oriented sales focus to concept cool. Together with his team, he is the experienced contact person for the retail.
In the future, he will extend his experience in the fish and seafood sector to other frozen food categories, thus broadening concept cool and opening it up to new partners.
Food and production are literally in Christine's blood: Already as a teenager she worked in her parents' food business during the holidays. After graduating, she took on various tasks and positions there, from production to packaging to product range design, including several organic lines, quality management, certifications and IFS development.
Christine contributes her know-how in product range design and quality management and, together with her team, is the competent contact person for manufacturers and industry.
