Our proximity to the source with binca development asia

Vietnam has played an important role for the concept cool in the procurement of fish and seafood for decades. For example, we source our extensively farmed black tiger prawns from the mangrove forests of the Mekong Delta. Our great advantage from the very beginning was that we have our own quality management system on site. Last year, we founded our company binca development asia in Ho Chi Minh City to develop it into the central sourcing hub for the whole of Southeast Asia.

In order to ensure the quality of our fish & seafood products, our Managing Directors Wolfgang Loacker and Oliver Fritsch attach great importance to regular visits on site to see the origin for themselves. They gain a direct insight into the processes, strengthen the close co-operation within the group of companies and ensure that our products meet the highest standards. Our own quality management in Vietnam enables continuous monitoring and guarantees our partners full transparency along the entire supply chain.

This visit to Vietnam has once again shown us how valuable direct dialogue in the region itself is and how crucial sustainable processes are for the future of the industry.
