Since our founding, the fascination for frozen food has never left us: We are convinced that frozen products are not only a healthy and culinary building block for a modern diet, but can also make a significant contribution to greater sustainability. The people at concept cool work every day to enrich our range with innovative products.
Our entrepreneurial journey began in 1994 as a marketing and sales agency specialising in frozen food for the Austrian market, as an "extended arm" of the manufacturers, so to speak. Just five years later, in 1999, we successfully expanded our activities to include our own frozen fish and seafood business.
In 1999, we moved deeper into the value chain with fish & seafood and started our own product development with expertise and quality management from source to POS. Since 2007, we have been using this know-how and the stories of our products to successfully develop our customers' private labels together with them. Organic products and sustainability have been important to us from the beginning.
The concept cool is led by a dual leadership structure consisting of Oliver Fritsch and Georgia Zombola. Their responsibilities are divided as follows: As managing director for category management & sales, Georgia will focus on sales, product development, brands and concepts. Oliver Fritsch a managing director for supply chain & business development covers supply chain and quality management. Together with the entire team, they make "frozen food as a service" a daily experience.
Georgia has been working on a freelance basis for concept cool for several years. She is an experienced executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of global management experience in the retail and wholesale sectors for food and non-food consumer goods. Her appointment as managing director is the logical next step in a successful collaboration with customers and partners.
